The quality of the air in the car parks is very variable. The main pollutants are often found above the recommended limit values, exposing the users but especially the operating personnel to health problems. This air quality varies according to three main parameters:
- The type of parking (overhead or underground)
- Traffic attendance and parking
- The type of ventilation (servo control and control parameter) or air treatment (purification)
Formaldehyde, more commonly known as formalin, is an aqueous solution present as a colorless gas with a pungent odor. This gas was considered a carcinogen of category 1 and was added to the list of carcinogenic substances in the order of 5 January 1993.
Indeed the danger of formaldehyde is an element to take more and more seriously in the indoor air. It is ubiquitous in both home and business environments. It can be in gaseous (methanal) or aqueous (formalin) form.
Indoor air quality in industrial environments has often been neglected in the light of production imperatives. However, the impact of this pollution is now demonstrated on the well-being productivity of employees. These pollutants become, in addition, harmful in the long run.
Indoor air pollution is often much more important than outdoor air. Faced with this, new technical solutions exist to monitor the air of industrial environments and optimize it.
It is now possible t
