Evac MBR (Membrane BioReactor) is an advanced biological wastewater treatment plant suitable for all vessel types ranging from small yachts to large cruise ships. The MBR plant handles all black (sewage) and grey waters from galleys, sinks, showers, and laundry facilities, generating good quality effluent in one step without the need for further post-treatment steps. The MBR can incorporate an optional additional nutrient removal step. 

Vacuum interface valves (VIVs) are used to connect gravity-based appliances to a vacuum sewage system. Whilst the Evac vacuum toilet is an integral part of the system, the system will also accept waste from all other gravity fixtures, including hand basins, baths, urinals, sumps, and showers. It does this using vacuum interface valves. The VIVs allow standard bathroom fittings to be connected to the vacuum drainage system in new-build projects while eliminating the need to replace existing fittings in refurbishment projects.

Evac HydroTreat is an innovation that revolutionizes the handling of organic wet waste onboard vessels. The novel innovation remarkably decreases the vessel’s environmental footprint; it provides a safer, more sustainable way to deal with organic waste streams, such as food waste and bio sludge, without emissions or plastic waste to the sea or gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Evac´s dry waste systems make handling and recycling dry waste materials easier than ever. Cardboard, glass, wood, aluminum and plastics can be compacted to reduce their original volume – saving space on board and costs during the landing process.

The Evac Optima 5S is the next generation, ultra-silent vacuum toilet. The noise level of flush operation, 66db(A), is up to two times lower compared to other solutions on the market. The significant noise reduction will make visits to the toilet much more pleasant and is the optimal choice for passenger vessels and hospitality sector. 

The Evac Cooling Compactor is a solution for food contaminated waste onboard yachts, which remains to be compacted and stored for landing. The cooling function keeps the waste in lowered temperature to decrease the biological activity and thus mitigate smell issues and other such inconveniences. In case the storage volume in the compactor is not enough, more cold storage can be provided by Evac cold storage cabinet URB-3.

Evac’s vacuum food waste collection system conveys food waste reliably and efficiently, even when it contains large amounts of bulky or starchy substances such as pasta, rice, bread, or potatoes. The system can easily be scaled for ships of all sizes.

HEM Series 20 system is designed for small yachts where space is very limited. The system is available as a monobloc unit enclosed in an aluminium frame. This is compact without being inaccessible for routine service, and allows for fast, simple installation. It can also be supplied in modular form, as seven smaller modules with a completely preplumbed and electrically preconnected main panel for flexible installation.
