Fairmount - Intellisense Kit - Hygrometer, Soil Thermometer and Barometer
The Intellisense Kit is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the WMO CIMO guide, in line with the Minamata Convention Global Treaty on the phase-out of mercury by 2020. Our Intellisense Kit is the “direct replacement” for hygrometers, soil thermometers and barometers within a Manual Meteorological Garden. Its technical capabilities are better than mercury, with datalogging, GPRS and expansion into an AWS with a multiplicity of different sensors for most ground data parameters. The radiation shield is designed to house temperature and humidity probes to protect them from the heating effects of solar radiation and also to protect them from direct exposure to rain and snow. The shields have improved design and performance characteristics compared to similar screens on the market whilst still being relatively low cost.

The Campbell-Stokes Sunshine Recorder is manufactured by Fairmount Weather Systems to the specifications of the British Meteorological Office and is used extensively by government meteorological services world wide. In 1964 the Campbell-Stokes Sunshine Recorder was adopted by the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) as their Interim Reference Sunshine Recorder for use in all member countries.

This instrument is manufactured to the specifications of the British Meteorological Office and is used extensively by government meteorological services world wide. In 1964 it was adopted by the World Meteorological Organisation as their Interim Reference Recorder for use in all member countries.
