Fairmount Weather Systems has been providing Meteorological instruments to National HydroMeteorological Institutes since 1986. We are both the largest and leading manufacturer of traditional British Standard meteorological equipment, in the UK.

Our recent work has been focused on direct-replacements under the Intellisense® brand, for mercury-filled instruments in the field that must be phased-out by 2020.

We follow the WMO guide to meteorological instruments and method observation and aim to conform to current standards to ensure that data is of quality and acceptable for inclusion in the Global Telecommunication System.
