These wounded yarn cartridges are made of an FDA popypropylene yarn. These cartridges are widely used for home filtration and in a various range of industries: chemical petrochemical,galvanic, paper mill, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, photography,nuclear and energy plants, paints,resins, electronics,biotech.

Cotton filter cartridges are made of an AISI stainless steel core and wound yarn cotton Depending on the weave and yarn count we can obtain multiple layers and therefore various degree of filtrations. The cotton used for thes type of cartridges is of the highest quality and the results of decades of expertise of Filatura Ceretti in the spinning process.

Stainless steel AISI cores are ideal for all those industrial sectors where working temperatures and pressure are elevated. To make these type of cores we use stainless steel 304 or 316 and also zinc plated steel.

The polypropylene cores are used to make filter cartridges suitable for food contact.
