FIN EC structural engineering software
Section
The program serves to compute cross-sectional parameters of arbitrary cross-sections.
Sector
The program determines cross-sectional parameters of thin-wall shaped cross-sections. It produces the same parameters as program Section including so called sectional characteristics needed when examining torsional behavior of beams.
Steel
The performs dimensioning of steel cross-sections and members according to the EC3 standard. The program performs analysis of cross-sections and elements (members) of rolled (from several databases) and welded profiles, composed and spaced sections including the influence of buckling, lateral buckling, weakening, verification of slenderness, etc.
Steel Fire
The program performs fire resistance verification of steel cross-sections and members according to the EC3 standard. It determines time of fire resistance in minutes. The cross-section could be protected by fire protection of several types. The program offers a list of mostly used details of fire protection of steel structures such as coatings, spray-coatings, or protection tubs. The database of fire protection materials is included.
Steel Joints
The program serves to verify joints of steel structures. It offers a simple way of computation of bearing capacity of joints of frame and truss structures composed of rolled or welded cross-sections. The analysis includes verification of connection of beams by a frontal plate, cantilever or weld and connection of angles onto a gusset plate.
Column Base
The program serves to compute and verify the bearing capacity and stiffness of a connection of steel column made from rolled or welded cross-sections onto a concrete foundation. The connection can be realized either by sinking the column into the foundation or by using a frontal plate. The program enables to add haunches at both left an right flange of a column.
