Accessories & Parts

Forensics - Headspace Kit

This headspace kit is the companion to our FD-600 series of headspace analyzers (O2, CO2, and O2/CO2). The kit includes 5 x probe sets that come with needles, filters, Luer lock fittings, and 8 inches of silicone tubing. The kit also includes 300 septas.

Ammonia

Forensics - Basic Ammonia Meter

The FORENSICS basic ammonia detector is made to be a workhorse with its easy one-button operation. Turn ON and detect immediately with no complicated setup. The detector is constructed with a high-quality electrochemical sensor made in Japan. Comes factory-calibrated. Ammonia is a toxic gas that requires continuous detection to ensure wellness for occupants and your livestock, particularly in occupational spaces, farms, and stables. NH3 is used in farm fertilizers, commercial refrigeration, water purification, treatment facilities, chemical plants, high-technology manufacturing, household cleaners, and cold storage lockers. Set by OSHA, the Permissible Exposure Limit for ammonia is 50 parts per million (ppm) averaged over an eight-hour workday. The NIOSH Recommended Exposure Limit (REL) for ammonia is 25 ppm averaged over an eight-hour workday. NIOSH also defines a Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) of 35 ppm during any 15-minute period in the day.

Forensics - Ammonia Gas Detector

The most professional ammonia gas detector by FORENSICS DETECTORS. Equipped with electrochemical sensors and comes factory-calibrated. The detection range of NH3 is 0 - 100ppm within 30 seconds at an accuracy of +/- 5% full-scale. Comes factory NIST calibrated from Los Angeles, CA. The detector has a DC3.7V Li-battery 1500mAh that allows for up to 24 hours of continuous use. Includes advanced features such as temperature detection, alarm recording, alarm setting, backlight high-resolution LCD, calibration features, and others. Ammonia is a toxic gas that requires continuous detection, particularly in occupational spaces. NH3 is used in farm fertilizers and commercial refrigeration, water purification, treatment facilities, chemical plants, high-technology manufacturing, and household cleaners. These devices are primarily used to detector ammonia from livestock, pig & poultry operations, chemical plants, and cold storage lockers.
