Electronic Stream Flow Meter

Revolutions of impeller are sensed electronically and transmitted to a hand-held counter unit that features start, stop, and clear functions. Revolutions per unit of time can be translated into stream velocity using a conversion chart. May be used in brackish water or salt water. Fitted with a re-settable LCD counter, this flowmeter eliminates the need for tiresome calculations. Comes complete with PVC pole mounted with an impeller which collapses into four sections for easy storage and carrying, three stream bed elevation rods, protective carrying pouch for counter, weather-proof storage case, instruction manual, and comparison charts. Optional 3-cup, hand-held anemometer is available for use with the flowmeter for measuring air velocity. Range of the anemometer is 2 mph to 65 mph. Global Water Composite/Discrete Water Sampler

This composite/discrete sampler allows you to control sample size and take either individual, time-weighted composite samples or full-bottle discrete grab samples in a two-gallon sample bottle. You can set the time between individual composite samples or use the external trigger mode for flow-proportional sampling. Use the start delay timer to start multiple samplers in the field at the same time or delay drawing a water sample following a triggering event so that the sample better represents the water source. The automatic 15 second backflush cycle ensures that the next composite sample is not contaminated. Sample size can be adjusted to one of 15 composite sample sizes from 50 ml to 2 liters, and the time interval can be set to one of 15 time settings from 5 minutes to 12 hours. Shallow Water Test Kit

Turbidity is measured by direct comparison of sample water to turbidity standards selected to match formazin standards. Also allows you to accurately test for dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, and turbidity. Measures dissolved oxygen from 0 to 10 ppm; readable to 0.1 ppm. Thermometer measures temperature from -5°C to +45°C in 0.5° increments. Two octet comparators are used to measure pH from 3.0 to 10.5 in 0.5 increments.

Coliform Test Kit

A simple five-tube method to indicate the presence or absence of Total Coliform Bacteria in drinking water. No incubation equipment required. Highly portable, no accessory labware required.
