Fox Thermal products

The Model FT1 is a multiple award winner due to its innovative design elements such as the DDC-Sensor™ technology platform that allows it to operate using the Gas-SelectX® gas menu selection tool.

The Model FT2A has a large selection of communication protocol options available intrinsically (without any other equipment). Options include: BACnet MS/TP, RS485 Modbus RTU, Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, or Ethernet Modbus TCP.

The Model FT3 was designed with our oil and gas customers in mind. This meter is Quad O (OOOO) compliant and is perfect for use in flare gas applications along with other fuel gas measurement.

The Fox Thermal Model FT4A was the first meter to use the expanded Gas-SelectX® gas selection menu and the 3rd Generation DDC-Sensor™ design.

The Fox Thermal Model FT4X, is the newest Thermal Gas Mass Flow Meter offered from Fox Thermal. Its BLM accuracy compliant Data Logger has a 7-year history!

Flow meter accuracy is often dependent on achieving a uniform flow profile near the center of the pipe. Distortion and swirl are disturbances in flow that can be remedied either by extending the length of space between the cause of the disturbance and the sensing element (increasing straight pipe runs) or by adding a flow conditioner to correct the disturbance. Flow conditioners installed upstream of flow meters reduce the need for long, straight pipe runs.
