Coolant Recycling Vaccums
Freddy - Coolant Recycling Vaccum
The Freddy Superminor+ has been designed with the operator in mind. Built to be easily manouvered around a machine shop. Made of mild steel, it is robust, some have been in action for 25 years or more, so it is suitable for even the most arduous environments. We try to keep it simple. Which is why we designed the Superminor+ to be as easy to use as possible. Featuring simple levers and push button on/off switches, minimal training is required to operate the Freddy Superminor+, saving time when training new operatives. For full details, please download the specification sheet from the technical details tab.
Freddy - Coolant Recycling Vaccum
The Freddy Midi has the smallest footprint in the Freddy Coolant Vacuum range, measuring just 620mm in width, making it easy to manoeuvre in all workshops. The Freddy Midi is designed to vacuum out coolant from machine tool sumps, machine beds, drip trays, conveyors and even the shop floor with the dedicated floor tool and recycle it for re-use.
Freddy - Freddy Second Filtration Unit
The Freddy Second Filtration Unit can be used with our existing range of coolant and swarf recycling vacuums. With the Second Filtration unit attached to a Freddy Coolant Recycling vacuum, you are able to double the filtration area. For those customers that are already passing their coolant through twice to maximise the filtration, it is a handy way to save time too! With filter bags available from 1 micron to 1000 micron, you are able to pass your coolant and swarf through the second filter unit, through a higher micron filter bag - to say remove the large swarf particles, before it then being passed through a smaller micron filter bag, to remove any sludge, silt, smaller swarf and other particulates. This is done in one cycle, so no further time or effort is required!
Tramp Oil Separator
Freddy - Tramp Oil Separator
The Freddy Tramp Oil Separator has been designed to combat the problems associated with tramp oil levels in machine tool coolant systems. Tramp oil can cause a variety of problems both to the finished product and the operator. The Tramp Oil Separator is easily manoeuvrable, so it can be used throughout the factory workshop, and it runs continuously so not to interfere with production, siphoning the tramp oil into the supplied collection bottle, and allowing the cleaned coolant to be returned.
Freddy - Freddy Vacuum Tramp Oil Skimmer
Tramp oil is probably one of the most common contaminants in metalworking fluids. The term is a catch all for all sources of non-soluble contaminants (usually oil-based) that can come in contact with the metalworking fluid as a function of the process or the equipment.
Swarf Vacuums
Freddy - Swarf Vacuum
The Freddy KSV vacuum is a portable vacuum designed to pick up swarf. The KSV/W is designed to pick up engineering coolant (suds), metal chippings and swarf (but not spirals). The KSV/C is designed to pick up metal chippings and swarf (but not spirals) where there is little or no liquid present. The KSV/W has a perforated steel basket with a lifting handle sitting in the canister, so to easily empty the metal chippings and swarf. It has a drain hose so you can easily empty the liquid from the canister. The KSV/C has a cyclonic separator that directs the majority of the metal chippings downwards into the perforated steel basket within the canister to collect the metal chippings and swarf, and like the KSV/W has lifting handle for easy emptying. If there is any liquid present, this can be emptied by detaching the canister from the caddy trolley.
Hepa and Atex Rated Vacuums
Atex rated - H Vacuum
The Freddy range of KEVA vacuum cleaners has been purposely designed, built, tested and approved as suitable to pick up potentially explosive and conductive dust and debris in a Dust zone 22. The Type H models are also suitable for picking up dust and debris that is hazardous to health in a Dust zone 22 and are fitted with a H14 grade filter. All models are built using an electronically commutated brushless motor featuring soft start and thermal protection.

HEPA filtration is for use where there is a need to safely and effectively pick up hazardous dusts and debris including asbestos, finely divided silica, carcinogens and highly active pharmaceutical products that are hazardous to health
