Resin-encapsulated transformers have at least one of the two windings encapsulated in epoxy resin in an autoclave mould with a vacuum close to zero. The other winding can always be encapsulated in epoxy resin or impregnated with class H high-cementation polyester resin.

Our VPI transformers are suitable for environmentally friendly installations with minimal flammable material content. Such special features are not new for GBE, which has been offering its own “Environmental Line” for several years.

The use of a core depends on the reactor application. Filled with PCB-free oil that has been dried and degassed, and complies with IEC standards. Made with circular cross-section, with pure cellulose paper conductor insulation. Corrugated or with radiators made from stamped cold-rolled steel.

Tank with radiators and conservator with rubber bag. 2-contact oil level indicator. 2-contact Buchholz relay. 2-contact thermometer. Primary-side elastimold insulators. Coating class: C3, RAL 7033.

3 PT100 probes. Jumo thermometer. IP21 protection box. Electrostatic shield. MV- and LV-side earthing bolts.
