GISMA stecker GmbH has specialized in the development, design, and production of underwater connectors since 1983. As an independent, owner-managed company, GISMA is one of the top three global market leaders in the industry.

These high-quality electrical and fiber optic connectors are used in the offshore industry, marine engineering, and marine technology. The product range comprises more than 15,000 different connectors in 16 series – and development continues. For the offshore industry, GISMA produces specialized products for ever greater drilling depths, which can be operated by underwater robots.

Thousands of GISMA connectors are used worldwide on numerous submarines, in the offshore and pump industries, and in research and development. Computer-aided design, in-house toolmaking, and state-of-the-art, computer-controlled machinery in production allow even special requests to be fulfilled quickly.

GISMA supplies standard connectors with up to 265 contacts, operating voltages up to 12 kV AC and currents up to 1000 A, for immersion depths up to 10,000 m. All commercially available single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables can be terminated with GISMA connectors.
