Construction Equipment

Burning & Welding Equipment

From just under the surface to 1,000 feet deep, Global has the tools, equipment and know how to handle all of your burning / welding needs. We have American Welding Society (AWS)-certified welders for both topside and underwater welding, and we can address both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Concrete Demolition Equipment

Global has a variety of equipment and methods available for concrete work, providing the capability to remove precise concrete samples or bulk quantities. Our equipment expertise ranges from hand-held chipping hammers to 70,000-pound bull pricks, hydro-demolition to wire sawing.

Pneumatic and Hydraulic Drilling Equipment

Our teams utilize specially-modified pneumatic and hydraulic drilling equipment, allowing us to drill any size at any depth through a variety of materials.

Dive Equipment

Hazmat Equipment

Global’s HAZMAT equipment is an essential part of our dive gear. It allows the divers to respond to oil spills, chemical removals, sewage treatment plants, rendering plants, and a large variety of their circumstances. The divers are fully contained inside the suits to protect them from the outside environment.

Hot Water Suits

Hot water suits are connected to a diver’s umbilical with a hot water hose, which supplies a consistent supply of hot water. Depending on the diver’s activity level, they can communicate with the surface to control their exact temperature allowing for longer work time underwater.

Potable Water Equipment

Global’s potable water equipment is maintained in an isolated, contaminant-free environment. This dive gear protects the potable water from any contamination that could be shared between the diver and environment.

Dive Stations

Dive Control Vans (DCV)

Global designs and builds its own Dive Control Vans (DCV). They are built in TEU twenty-foot equivalent unit containers, allowing for easy lifting and transport. The dive control room houses the gas rack that monitors and controls the divers’ breathing gases, back-up air system, video monitoring/recording equipment, and the communications equipment needed to talk with the diver and other parties involved. The other portion of the DCV is a workshop, complete with bench, large assortment of tools and spare parts. DCVs can be used on their own or as a part of Dive Support Vessel (DSV).

Dive Support Vessels (DSV)

Dive Support Vessels (DSV) are constructed out of barge units sized to meet the requirements of the job and support equipment.Dive operations can also be carried out from a boat, ship, flat deck, or derrick barge if it is suitable for the project.

Surface Dive Stage With Launch-and-Recovery System (LARS)

The dive stage and launch-and-recovery system (LARS) is a controlled method to lower and raise a diver and/or equipment back and forth from the dive platform to the water. Reasons for using this system include an air gap that is too great for a diver to climb a ladder or when divers are working under a significant amount of in-water decompression.

Trailer Stations

Global has several dive trailers, similar to the DCVs, that house the dive control station and have a small work space. These can be towed to dive sites that are on shore, offering greater protection from the weather and increased capabilities.
