The Program helps groups of businesses achieve competitive advantage, enhance their reputation and stimulate innovation.

Certified Software and Tools Program

The GRI Certified Software and Tools Program enables access to software and tools with accurate GRI content, helping you collect data and manage the reporting process. GRI certified software and tools come with the guarantee that the relevant content from the GRI Standards is correct, enabling robust and transparent reporting. The G4 Guidelines have expired on June 30th 2018. The GRI Standards are the most current and recognized version of GRI reporting. GRI therefore only accepts applications for tools which contain content from the GRI Standards.

GRI`s Content Index Tool helps you build your Content Index by generating a customized template based on your preferred `in accordance` option, together with your selected material topics. As of now, the GRI Services Team only accepts service applications for GRI Standards reports. The GRI content index is the main navigation tool of your report, and the first point of reference for report users. This service will confirm that your content index is accurate, and that all disclosures are labeled correctly within your report.

Materiality Disclosures Services

Ensure the clarity of your materiality disclosures. The GRI Standards and G4 Guidelines emphasize the need for organizations to focus their reporting on material topics. The Materiality Disclosures Service focuses on the disclosures you provide about the materiality assessment used for your report, stakeholder engagement, how you have defined the content of your report; and how you have defined the boundary for each topic. This service confirms that your disclosures are in line with the GRI Standards or G4 Guidelines.

GRI - Referenced Services

Increase the transparency of your `GRI-referenced` material. Through their modular structure, the GRI Standards offer more flexibility to reporters to select the specific content relevant for them. This option is referred to as a `GRI-referenced` claim. It is appropriate for an organization that wants to report on their economic, environmental and/or social impacts, but which are not looking to use the GRI Standards to provide a full picture of its material topics and related impacts. The GRI-Referenced Service confirms that the claim included in the published materials is aligned with the requirements of GRI 101, clause 3.3 on `Using selected Standards with a GRI-referenced claim`.

Disclosure Review Services

Improve the quality of your report with GRI`s new Disclosure Review Service. The Service can be performed on draft or published reports. Responding to interest from clients, we are proud to launch a new GRI service that fills a much-needed gap in the market. GRI’s new Disclosure Review Service is designed to help organizations improve the content of their report by reviewing specific disclosures and determine whether the organization has responded to the information requests from the requirements outlined in the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards).
