Materiality Disclosures Services
Ensure the clarity of your materiality disclosures. The GRI Standards and G4 Guidelines emphasize the need for organizations to focus their reporting on material topics. The Materiality Disclosures Service focuses on the disclosures you provide about the materiality assessment used for your report, stakeholder engagement, how you have defined the content of your report; and how you have defined the boundary for each topic. This service confirms that your disclosures are in line with the GRI Standards or G4 Guidelines.
GRI Standards have superseded the G4 Guidelines, which will be phased out on 1 July 2018. Use of the GRI Standards will be required for all reports or other materials published on or after 1 July 2018. The G4 Guidelines will remain valid until then. GRI Services Team accepts applications for Content Index Services on G4 reports until 1 June 2018 and Materiality Disclosure and SDG Mapping Services until 15 June 2018. All services submitted on G4 reports will need to be completed before 30 June 2018 to qualify for the organizational mark. It is the organization`s responsibility to ensure that their report using the G4 Guidelines is published before the G4 Guidelines become invalid.
