Over the past 30 years Global Environmental has developed a nationwide reputation for delivering rapidly deployable, widely effective water treatment and environmental remediation services. National leader in water treatment and submerged oil-contaminated sediment remediation. Global Environmental Engineering was founded in Traverse City, Michigan in 1992 by the late Bill Korreck Sr. and several close partners. The name “Global” was chosen due to the magnitude of the problems to be addressed, which offered the team decades of sustainable growth, including an acquisition a competing firm in Flint, Michigan. In 2014, Global was chosen to treat oil-contaminated sediment in the Kalamazoo River, leading to the creation of Global Treatment Solutions, a team exclusively focused on equipment and activated carbon service. Today, Global Environmental encompasses both the Environmental Engineering and Treatment Solutions teams.
