VacFlow - Innovative non-mechanical bulk sampler
For applications with critical (abrasive) bulk solids, we have developed the new VacFlow, which has no mechanical components. The VacFlow system enables the sampling of bulk materials (powder or granules) from containers and silos without mechanical components and moving parts. Pressureless storage containers above bagging plants and sending vessels are typical plant components in which the VacFlow can be used. The resting product is sucked in and conveyed by a blast of air via a cyclone into a sample bottle. The VacFlow is particularly suitable for bulk materials that are abrasive and whenever other mechanical systems do not work. Auger sampler type PS 05 Similar to the enclosed project sketch, for sampling from a downpipe, bunker, silo, chute or similar. The sampler is switched to discard immediately before sampling in order to expel the material in the pipe at the end of the pipe. The material that now flows in is conveyed to the sample outlet by changing the direction of rotation of the screw. The sample quantity can be determined by the length of the screw`s running time. The screw tube Ø 60.3 mm and the screw are made of stainless steel 1.4571.
