Auger sampler type PS 05 Similar to the enclosed project sketch, for sampling from a downpipe, bunker, silo, chute or similar. The sampler is switched to discard immediately before sampling in order to expel the material in the pipe at the end of the pipe. The material that now flows in is conveyed to the sample outlet by changing the direction of rotation of the screw. The sample quantity can be determined by the length of the screw`s running time. The screw tube Ø 60.3 mm and the screw are made of stainless steel 1.4571.
