Grant - Refrigerated Circulating Bath
The LTC4R (the equipment) consists of a TX150 (the heating circulator) combined with an R4R (the refrigeration unit), with insulated hoses and clips to allow circulation of temperature control fluids to external equipment.
Grant Instruments Ltd - Bi-Directional Temperature Gradient Plate
Highly effcient bi-directional temperature gradient system for investigating responses to temperature shifts of seeds, small plants, insects, micro-organisms or any small component or material. The design is based on the fact that a temperature gradient results if one edge of a square aluminium plate is heated and the opposite edge is cooled.Grant Instruments Ltd - Controlled Rate Freezer
Liquid nitrogen free and cryogen free controlled rate freezer for research into the cryopreservation of a wide range of material including: embryos, stem cells, mammalian cells, spermatozoa, antibodies, tissue sections and rodent organs. The CRF-1 brings accuracy, precision and reproducibility to biological cryopreservation. Unlike conventional liquid nitrogen based controlled rate cooling equipment, the CRF-1 greatly reduces the risk of contamination and can be used in clean rooms and barrier facilities. The CRF-1 fits neatly on a bench-top. Its performance in terms of cell viability after freezing is comparable or better than standard liquid nitrogen freezers. The CRF-1 will cool down to -100˚C with straws. Operation is simple and can be carried out with or without a PC; data can be logged via PC software and cooling profiles are directly displayed on PC screen. Different cooling profiles are available from a drop down menu and customised profiles can be written.Scientific - Dry Block Heaters - Dry Block Heating/Cooling
Grant - Combitherm-2 Dry Block Heating/Cooling System
The Grant-bio CH3-150 Combitherm-2 dry block heating cooling system is specially designed to thermostabilise materials at temperatures from –3°C to +150°C according to methods of analysis.
