ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
Here at GreenA Consultants, we pride ourselves in creating mutually beneficial solutions for our clients and the environment. We provide Environmental Studies on site to empower our clients in understanding the human interaction with the environment before developing or acquiring a new site. Apart from understanding the implications of human activities on the environment , issues between the built environment and the natural environment are also examined to help us better harmonize and synthesize with our environment.
DAYLIGHT REFLECTANCE ANALYSIS
Daylight reflectance analysis is the measurement of the percentage of daylight light that is reflected off a given material surface as diffuse and specular light. Different materials exhibit different reflectance behaviours which is influenced by 1.)The properties of the material 2.) Angle of incident light 3.) Wave length of the light source.
Daylight reflectance analysis is conducted on the envelope/facade of the building and roofing materials.
ARCHITECTURAL & INTERIOR ACOUSTICS
Architectural Acoustics (comprises of both building & interior acoustics) is the science and engineering of understanding and controlling of noise transmission from a building’s envelope to interior spaces and vice versa. Architectural acoustics analyses the relationship between architecture, design and the aural environment and how buildings can mediate between these elements to mitigate the effects of noise nuisance which can have negative effects on productivity, health, wellbeing and quality of life.
CFD Simulation
CFD is the science of predicting fluid flow, heat transfer, chemical reactions, and related phenomena by utilizing applied mathematics, physic and computational softwares. CFD simulation effectively provides a visual on how fluid flows and interact with objects taking into account factors such as velocity, pressure, temperature and density of fluid in motion.
