The Model 570E hardware and FiberPanel software comprise the H&L Instruments FiberLoop III SCADA/DA fiber network solution. The Model 570E fiberoptic transceiver includes two 802.3 Ethernet ports and combines the capabilities of a transceiver and a controller in a single powerful unit. You can perform SCADA master, slave, and peer-to-peer communications within the same device making it a highly flexible solution.

The Model 570X is H&L Instruments newest innovation in fiberoptic SCADA communication. The 570X includes an embedded Linux System-On-Module (SOM) to provide a powerful all in one solution for SCADA network management and control. It’s never been easier to monitor your FiberLoop III system using FiberPanel from your head-end PC, and the new Model 570X incorporates expanded capabilities for monitoring your network via a TCP/IP connection.

The Model 561 is a field-tested fiber optic transceiver that combines with the FiberPanel Windows-based network management software to implement the H&L Instruments FiberLoop II system. The 561 transceivers are employed in very large networks to connect Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) or other Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) with a Model 561 configured as a SCADA master or network controller.

This device is a rugged, reliable, and cost effective solution that offers the following features: Plug-in optical modules for varying distances between stations up to 53 miles. Fastest communications rates over long distances. Superior noise immunity and electrical isolation.

The Model 102C Edge Profile Comparator is a precision instrument for verifying wafer edge shape and integrity before beginning the manufacturing process. The instrument magnifies the profile image 100 times for display on the built-in 12-inch monitor. Precision fixturing for wafers from 1-inch to 300 mm allows rotation of the wafer 360 degrees and refocusing as needed. By comparing the image with a template mounted to the monitor, wafers are compared against specifications such as SEMI M1 or M9. With the optional video processor, the image can be printed for hard-copy documentation. By creating a shadow-edge profile image, this qualitative, non-destructive inspection instrument helps to verify compliance to specifications, without sacrificing the wafer.

The Model 570E-16 configuration provides 16 serial data communications channels for master/slave supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA). In controller mode, this device automatically reroutes data in the event of a fiber break or transceiver failure. In transceiver mode, the device provides the interface with all remote devices including RTUs, PLCs, and IEDs.
