Perforated style trash baskets are used to screen out solids that may otherwise damage pumping equipment in wet wells. This style basket is for light duty applications, screening up to an 8 inch (302mm) influent pipe. Standard baskets are manufactured of aluminum or stainless steel and are used in conjunction with either an extruded aluminum or stainless steel pipe rail system, which is used to position the basket at the proper elevation. The standard hole configuration is 2 inch (51mm) holes on 3 inch (77mm) centers with other hole sizes and spaces available. Trash baskets are used with portable hoists, which are used to raise and lower the basket for cleaning purposes.

Adjustable reach stainless steel portable hoists are commonly used to raise and lower pumps and other equipment at wet well locations. Units are supplied with a marine grade manually operated brake winch with 30 ft. (9 meters) of 1/4" (7mm) stainless steel cable and galvanized safety hook. The adjustable reach is from 24" to 36" (610mm to 914mm) in 1" (25mm) increments. The overall height of the unit is 60" (1.5m) with a net lift of 49" (1.3m) for a 24" (610mm) reach to 34" (.9m) for a 36" (914mm) reach. Units with maximum load ratings of 300, 1000 and 1300 lbs. (136, 454, and 603 kg.) are available. Socket choices are embedded, wall mounted and floor mounted. Units are not suitable for confined space applications where raising or lowering of humans is required.

Fixed reach stainless steel portable hoists are commonly used to raise and lower pumps and other equipment at wet well locations. Units are supplied with a marine grade manually operated brake winch with 30 ft. (9 meters) of 1/4" (7mm) stainless steel cable and galvanized safety hook. The standard fixed reach is 24" (610mm) with other reaches available. The overall height of the unit is 60" (1.5m) with a net lift of 49" (1.3m). Units with maximum load ratings of 500, 1000 and 1500 lbs. (227, 454, and 680 kg.) are available. Socket choices are embedded, wall mounted and floor mounted. Units are not suitable for confined space applications where raising or lowering of humans is required.

The Series X Retro-Grate is a hinged and lockable aluminum grating panel that is easily installed beneath existing access covers regardless of the original cover manufacture. The Retro-Grate provides additional protection against fall through accidents when the cover is left in the open position. The unit is lockable with an owner supplied padlock and incorporates a spring assisted lifting handle that positions the handle near the slab level when the existing access cover is in the open position. The Retro-Grate incorporates a T-316 stainless steel hold open arm with aluminum latch and with T-316 stainless steel mounting hardware for either concrete or frame only installations.

Series L1E ladder extensions are used to assist personnel in getting on and off of a ladder. The extension retracts after use so that the access cover can be closed. Model A is for tank or pit depths over 73” and the Model B is for tank or pit depth between 55” and 73”.

Series L1B utilizes wall mounted standoffs while Series L1D utilizes both wall mounted standoffs and floor attachments. Aluminum ladders are used in both above and below ground applications where corrosion resistance is required. Ladders are of welded construction and utilize 1/2` x 2 3/4` (13mm x 70mm) channel stringers with 1 3/8` (35mm) diameter type `D` rungs with flat slip resistant surface. Standard ladders are 16` (406mm) wide with different widths up to 24`(610mm) available upon request. Ladder lengths and stand off lengths are custom fit for each application. Required information includes ladder length, standoff length and wall configuration.
