Model Series DB -Portable Hoist
Adjustable reach stainless steel portable hoists are commonly used to raise and lower pumps and other equipment at wet well locations. Units are supplied with a marine grade manually operated brake winch with 30 ft. (9 meters) of 1/4" (7mm) stainless steel cable and galvanized safety hook. The adjustable reach is from 24" to 36" (610mm to 914mm) in 1" (25mm) increments. The overall height of the unit is 60" (1.5m) with a net lift of 49" (1.3m) for a 24" (610mm) reach to 34" (.9m) for a 36" (914mm) reach. Units with maximum load ratings of 300, 1000 and 1300 lbs. (136, 454, and 603 kg.) are available. Socket choices are embedded, wall mounted and floor mounted. Units are not suitable for confined space applications where raising or lowering of humans is required.
Halliday portable hoists are of all stainless steel construction, and are engineered for basic hoisting requirements of relatively light equipment. They are available in 500, 1000, and 1500 lb. (227, 454, and 680 kg.) load capacities, and with 24" (610mm). fixed or 24" - 36" (610mm - 914mm) adjustable reaches. Capacities will vary based upon height of mast and length of reach. The hoists feature a Dutton-Lainson Co. marine grade zinc plated gear/brake winch, with 30 ft. (9 meters) of 1/4" (7mm) stainless steel cable, and galvanized safety hook.

Series DA
Fixed Reach Portable Hoist
The portable hoist shall be series DA as manufactured by Halliday Products Inc. of Orlando, Florida. The unit shall be sizes to facilitate equipment placement and removal. The portable hoist shall be all T-304 stainless steel construction with marine grade brake winch and 30 feet (9m) of ¼ inch (7mm) T-304 stainless steel cable with galvanized safety hook. The fixed reach davit arm shall be set at 24” (610mm) and the overall unit height shall be 60" (1.5m). The portable hoist shall be guaranteed against defects in material and or workmanship for a period of 3 years.
