Harcros Organics, headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas, is the manufacturing arm of Harcros Chemicals Inc.

Harcros Organics is proud to be a preferred supplier to many and varied industries, including:

  • Agriculture
  • Food Processing
  • Industrial & Institutional Cleaning
  • Leather Processing
  • Oil Field Services
  • Paints & Coatings
  • Petrochemical
  • Pulp and Paper
  • UV/EB Coatings
  • Water Treatment

Our strength is the development of products designed to satisfy niche applications in these and other industries. Harcros chemists work closely with the technical teams of our customers to solve problems and create opportunities.

The Harcros Chemicals Performance Products Marketing Group is responsible for technical sales and marketing of the Harcros Organics product line.

Harcros Organics produces a broad range of nonionic and anionic surfactants which complement other major surfactant lines distributed by Harcros Chemicals.

This assures you a convenient single source of supply for a complete line of surfactants-from the most widely used to the unique. Our core chemistry is alkoxylation, and we focus our attention on nonionic surfactants and other ethoxylated or propoxylated derivatives.

These products are sold under the T-DET® brand name. This line includes a range of ethoxylated alcohols and alkyl phenols including nonyl, octyl and dodecyl phenols, as well as other hydrophobes.

We also manufacture:

  • Alkanolamides
  • Calcium & Amine Sulfonates
  • Ether Sulfates
  • Phosphate Esters
  • Specialized Foamers

Distributed surfactants include primary alcohol ethoxylates, quaternary ammonium cationic surfactants and amphoterics. LAS and derivative surfactants are also available for mixed shipments.

The manufacture of custom alkoxylates for unique applications is a traditional Harcros Organics strength, and another way in which our flexibility provides value to our customers.

Building on our surfactant capability, Harcros Organics manufactures blended emulsifiers for agricultural formulations, emulsion polymerization processes, oils and asphalt. These products are marketed as T-MULZ emulsifiers. We offer custom design of emulsifiers for specific, difficult, applications.

This unique branch of surface chemistry ties in nicely with our surfactant technology. Harcros silicone and non-silicone antifoams are manufactured to the highest quality standards and used in a variety of formulations. They are available in food, Kosher, and industrial grades. We provide custom formulations to meet your specific needs.

Harcros Organics operates a pilot plant with a variety of capabilities. This is used to advantage by our customer base to hasten new product development and to fill initial commercial requirements.

Where volumes of your specialty products are not large enough to justify investment in your plant, Harcros can establish tolling agreements for custom organic manufacturing.

Among the many product lines distributed by Harcros Chemicals, several demand special attention. The technical nature and high level of communication surrounding these product lines has resulted in the establishment of the Harcros Performance Products Marketing Group [PPMG]. The PPMG provides enhanced focus on these product lines and filters information between our customers and vendors, resulting in better communication and service to both. The PPMG also provides an enhanced knowledge of our Harcros Organics Product Line, which is produced at our manufacturing facility in Kansas City, KS.

The PPMG is comprised of members with expertise in specialty chemical fields ranging from HI&I to the oil field and from agriculture to personal care. This diverse expertise coupled with a full staff of chemists at our Kansas City laboratories creates added value for our customers and greater efficiency for our vendors. Additional customer value is created by the PPMG specialists working with our field sales force to better support their sales efforts on specialty product lines - specialty surfactants, preservatives, hydrotropes, biocides, emulsifiers, antifoams, and other specialty product offerings.

These associates and facilities allow us to serve our customer better and more rapidly, while demanding less support from our vendor base. The Performance Products Group is a Harcros difference that adds value.
