Space-saving design as visibility and lighting glass

Application in chemical, pharmaceutical, biogas and food processing industries: It is ideal for illuminating bioreactors, laboratory mixers  and filters as well as the interiors of tanks, agitators,  separators, pipelines and other, usually closed, vessels in non-explosive operating environments.

For illuminating the interior of tanks, hoppers, silos, agitators and other, usually closed, vessels  and reactors
as well as visual flow indicators in  non-explosive environments. Recommended for use in the food processing industry. For mounting on sight glass fittings: This ultra-compact sight glass luminaire is designed  for universal applications. It is ideal for use in  combined sight and light ports (single-flange version)  or with two separate ports (2-flange version).

After welding base flange onto or into vessel wall, seals, glass disc and flange are placed together in the order shown. Then the nuts (in case of studded base flange) and washers are progressively tightened, always working on diametrically opposted pairs of nuts at time. Tightening torque values are given in table on overleaf. Other information can be taken from DIN28120.

Visual control of fluid and flow in pipelines. It makes the observation of functioning and  performance possible, of single machines as  well as of entire machine units. The drip mold  displays even the smallest rate of flow.

For viewing the internals of vessels, silos, reactors etc. mainly used as fluid level indicator

MAXOS^® safety sight glasses, tempered. MAXOS safety sight glasses are necessary in all places where
the observation of processes in closed vessels must be guaranteed. The high level of safety can be reached by using a special borosilicate  glass with good chemical resistance, exceptional purity and homogeneity.  A thermal toughening, in combination with the low thermal expansion which  is typical for this borosilicate glass, leads to an especially high thermal  shock resistance.
