Highland Waste Services (HWS) provides an extensive choice of practical and easy to use skips which are suitable for a wide range of waste types. They are available in a variety of sizes and types (both open and closed) ranging from 8 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards. HWS have a large fleet of waste carrier vehicles to cater for any situation. HWS provide professional waste management and skip hire service to the highland region of Scotland.

HWS can provide a comprehensive collection service for all your business waste with our bin collection service. We provide without charge or rental 1100ltr and 360ltr bins as required, and collect General Waste and Recycling Waste separately. The legislation change of 1st January 2014 now requires businesses to ensure some segregation, and although this can be read ambiguously, we are happy to advise how best to proceed for your actual business needs.

As part of our on-going commitment to our clients we offer both monthly and biannual waste management reports (to accompany the supply of services). We pride ourselves on our ability to provide a one-stop service for waste management. We will provide and collect our various skips and we will process and recycle the collected waste materials with an approximate 90% recycling efficiency rate.

We have facilities to shred your Confidential Waste at our Evanton site, giving you peace of mind and diverting this waste stream from landfill.

If your business is in the City of Inverness, parts of Forres and Most of Elgin, you may be required to separate your food waste as part of the Zero Waste Scotland regulations that came into force on 1st January 2014. We work in partnership with Keenan who specialise in food waste recycling and operate from their bespoke site at Mintlaw, and we are therefore able to offer a bin collection service to help your business comply with these new rules.
