Crop Circle - Multi-Parameter Sensor - Fuses Multiple Sensing Devices
Multi-parameter sensor fuses multiple sensing devices into a single compact package. Data collected by the sensor can be utilized to quantify the radiative transfer properties for both soil and vegetation. The Crop Circle DAS44X’s versatility allows it to be deployed for both stationary and mobile applications. Additionally, the Crop Circle DAS44X can be networked with other Holland Scientific crop canopy sensors or with third-party sensors in order to expand on its already data rich capabilities.
Crop Circle Phenom - Remote Sensing Tool
The Holland Scientific Crop Circle Phenom 2 represents a new remote sensing tool for measuring the radiative transfer and biophysical characters of plant canopies. Measurements include: NDVI, NDRE vegetation indices, LAI and canopy chlorophyll content estimation, incident and canopy reflected PAR, canopy and air temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. Sensor data can be utilized for screening new plant varieties or for studying the plant physiological behavior. Because the system can be vehicle mounted, the system can rapidly collect plant canopy information over large agricultural landscape or research study areas. Sensor measurements are geospatially tagged and stored using a GeoSCOUT X data logger.
GeoSCOUT - Data Logger
The GeoSCOUT X data logger is an easy-to-use and reliable tool for collecting geospatial data from Holland Scientific sensors and other sensors that provide RS-232 text-based data streams. Geospatial sensor data are stored on an internal SD flash card. All data is stored in files that are organized with a comma-separated-variable text format for easy import into third-party GIS mapping and analysis software. The GeoSCOUT X can support 4 Crop Circle sensors plus two additional RS-232 serial devices. Position offsets for each sensor can be readily configured.
