Hot-Disk - Thermal Conductivity Meter

When samples are small and high-conducting, the Hot Disk TPS 3500 is the ideal instrument for testing their thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat. The capabilities of TPS 3500 go well beyond that of any other Hot Disk instrument to date, while retaining the documented precision of all TPS thermal conductivity meters. It meets ISO 22007-2.

Hot-Disk - Thermal Conductivity Meter

The Hot Disk TPS 2500 S is the core instrument in the system portfolio of Hot Disk AB. This general-purpose R&D thermal conductivity meter is designed for precision analysis of thermal transport properties of materials of any type. It is a capital research instrument and meets ISO 22007-2.

Hot-Disk - Thermal Conductivity Meter

The Hot Disk TPS 2200 is an affordable option when performance and price are both in consideration. It tackles a good range of sample types and it is suitable for day-to-day testing in any laboratory with a focus on material science. The TPS 2200 meets ISO 22007-2.

Hot-Disk - Thermal Conductivity Meter

The affordable Hot Disk TPS 1500 is the ideal thermal conductivity meter for testing building materials, insulation materials or any other type of large bulk samples. The TPS 1500 shares the sterling quality, robustness and operative simplicity of the benchmark TPS 2500 S and meets ISO Standard 22007-2.

Hot-Disk - Thermal Conductivity Meter

The Hot Disk TPS 500 Thermal Constants Analyser rapidly and accurately measures the thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat capacity of a wide range of materials and is therefore an excellent step-in Thermal Conductivity Meter. The TPS 500 S model adds powerful new features to the 500-series.

Hot Disk - Thermal Conductivity Meter

The Hot Disk M1 is a basic Thermal Conductivity Meter which nevertheless offers high accuracy and measurement repeatability. With the M1, solids, powders and pastes in the thermal conductivity range of 0.03 to 40 W/m/K are readily tested.

Sensors

Hot-Disk Kapton - Insulated Sensors

The Kapton-insulated sensors are the most versatile in the Hot Disk sensor portfolio. Handled with care they have a long lifetime, even when employed at temperatures as high as 300 °C in air atmosphere. To ensure functionality the sensor should not be ripped or folded. The sensor should also be kept in its protective slipcase when not in use. Kapton sensors for Isotropic, Anisotropic, Slab, One-dimensional and Structural Probe measurements, with operating temperature from -196 °C up to 300 °C (400 °C in vacuum):

Hot-Disk Teflon - Insulated Sensors

Teflon-insulated sensors are designed for use in extreme conditions, such as acidic or corroding environments, or with sticky and reactivate samples. These sensors otherwise have features similar to the Kapton sensors.

Hot-Disk Mica - Insulated Sensors

The mica-insulated sensors are designed for measurements at elevated temperatures, typically above 300 °C to a current maximum of 800 °C. Due to the strain exerted on the sensors under these circumstances, the lifetime of mica-insulated sensors is limited and they should be considered consumables. Sensors for Isotropic, Anisotropic, Slab and One-dimensional measurements, with operating temperature from 300 °C up to 800 °C:

Measurement Modules

Hot-Disk - Isotropic Standard Module

The powerful Isotropic Measurement Module allows the Hot Disk user to measure the thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat capacity of any isotropic bulk sample, whether a solid, liquid, powder, paste or foam. The thermal conductivity measured using this module is the geometrical mean value of the thermal conductivity in the probed sample volume. Working with the Isotropic module is straightforward, and requires only a minimum of input parameters. Even a sample of unknown material properties can quickly be tested and analysed. The Isotropic Measurement Module features both single- and double-sided sample testing.
