Stainless steel is inert and has long been the material of first choice in the field of drinking-water supply. Particular emphasis is usually laid on stainless steel`s resistance to chemical corrosion and the corresponding long service life. The drinking water tanks are fully welded, pickled and passivated. There is no need for sealing materials.

Ozone plants in the field of water treatment are complex systems, and a wide range of experience is important for the correct process design. Oxygen is used exclusively as the feed gas for ozone generation in order to avoid the disturbing formation of nitrogen oxide. For plants up to approx. 5 kg/h, the oxygen is generated on site in so-called PSA (Pressure-Swing-Adsorption) plants. For large plants, liquid oxygen (LOX) is usually cheaper.

The HYDROZON drinking water compact units are suitable for almost all areas of use relating to drinking water treatment with filtration. Problem-oriented, fully-automatic systems can be implemented utilizing modular design. 

Oxygen generators produce technical oxygen with a purity of up to 95 % by concentrating atmospheric oxygen. By using oxygen for water treatment, up to 50 mg/l and more oxygen can be dissolved in water. Our system that are made solely of high-quality components are matched optimally to each other and ensure highly efficient and reliable oxygen production.

Membrane filtration isa mong the most innovative filtration techniques. In addition to standard equipment for Microfiltration (MF) and Ultrafiltration (UF). with standard filtration elements on a polymer basis, we offer advanced process technology and proprietary membrane modules based on ceramic. The focus here is on modules with particularly high permeability and with very good chemical resistance. A mobile container system is available for on-site testing. This makes it possible to find the best process technology even for tricky cases.

The standard filter systems of Type KIF (gravel filter systems) manufactured by us are ready-to-operate performance units. The performance data for filtration, iron removal and demanganisation specified below are based on values obtained through many years of experience and are used for orientation. Strictly, verification of design must be carried out using current raw water values as a basis. Deacidification filters, activated carbon filters and GIH filters must always be designed to suit a particular application. Our experts will be pleased to advise you at any time.

The concentration of the elements calcium, magnesium, strontium and barium dissolved in water (also called alkaline earths) is designated as the water hardness. Strontium and barium occur only in very small quantities in normal water and therefore play only a subordinate and negligible role.
