Hydro - Ozone Systems for Water Treatment

Ozone plants in the field of water treatment are complex systems, and a wide range of experience is important for the correct process design. Oxygen is used exclusively as the feed gas for ozone generation in order to avoid the disturbing formation of nitrogen oxide. For plants up to approx. 5 kg/h, the oxygen is generated on site in so-called PSA (Pressure-Swing-Adsorption) plants. For large plants, liquid oxygen (LOX) is usually cheaper.
