Disc and Double Cartridge Filters
Disc Filters
Due to its sturdiness, the disc filter is particularly suitable for withstanding very harsh working conditions. It has an epoxy painted steel body, a steel lid and copolymer polypropylene discs. Filter rating 120 mesh. The connections can be flanged or threaded.
Model E Type - Double Cartridge Filters
The “E” type filter consists of a double internal cartridge. The distinctive feature of these filters is that the inlet and outlet of the water constitute an angle of 90 degrees. The hood inside is characterized by two casings, one inside the other, each of which has a different mesh density. The double internal element system offers the advantage of gradual filtration and a greater filtering surface.

Single Chamber Quartzite Filters
The quartzite filter is used for the initial filtration of water coming from rivers, canals, lakes and dams, it ensures the interception of organic particles and microorganisms which cause serious damage to micro-irrigation systems. In a perfect filtering system it is recommended to mount 2 quartzite filters in series. These types of filters are composed of a casing, usually made of hot-dip galvanized or painted steel, filled with quartzite capable of trapping impurities inside.
Double Chamber Quartzite Filters
The double chamber filter is particularly suitable for filtering water with a high quantity of organic substances: algae, slime and silty particles of organic matrix. It is recommended to use it for water coming from rivers, lakes or artificial basins. The special diffusing nozzles housed inside prevent the quartzite from compacting, also reducing the pressure drops of the entire system. The filter has a double chamber, i.e. divided in two by a plate, its special structure has been designed to reduce overall dimensions and to make it more easily transportable from one system to another should the need arise. The filter is supplied with a manual backwash system, on request it can also be automated with electrically operated hydrovalves.
Hydrocyclone Filter
The hydrocyclone filter is a sand and inorganic particle separator with centrifugal action. The particular structure of the hydrocyclone creates a vortex of water which allows the separation of the heaviest particles due to the centrifugal force. The solid particles separated from the water are deposited in a special collection tray equipped with a convenient opening to be easily emptied. The filter cleaning process does not require any disassembly of accessories, as dirt can be manually removed from the purge tank.
Self-Cleaning Filters and Brush Filters
The self-cleaning mesh filter is particularly suitable for filtering water with small and medium quantities of sand. Inside the cartridge there is a perforated plate, adjustable in terms of passage section which, when crossed by the water, creates a swirling motion whose movement separates the sand particles and deposits them on the bottom. Then there is the version equipped with a brush inside the cartridge and a crank on the filter cover. This mechanism, through manual and periodic activation of the crank, allows quick cleaning of the cartridge without necessarily having to dismantle the filter.
Mesh Filters
The mesh filter is the most widespread in filtration systems for drip irrigation and micro-sprinkling. It is an internal-external filter, built entirely in hot-dip galvanized or painted steel. The filter mesh is made of polyester and the support cartridge is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The filter element is easily removable from the body to allow thorough cleaning. This filter is intended for relatively clean water and in fact they are used as secondary filters in surface water or as primary filters with springs or aqueducts.
