Imabe iberica experience includes all development of different waste processing plants, including turn key projects designed for sorting, treatment and recycling of solid urban waste (suw), industrial waste, hazardous waste and single stream waste projects. All sorting process is done fully integrated: design, manufacture, assembly and start up in turnkey basis of processing plants for sorting and recycling of all types of waste. This is one of the main activities of imabe iberica.

Waste transfer stations for solid urban waste (SUW) have as main objective to improve the transport efficiency of solid waste generated on municipalities that are located far away from the waste treatment plants. Waste transfer stations optimize the collection and transport operation in different ways. Waste collector trucks unload the solid urban waste (suw) in these plants and then they continue with its waste collection operation, meanwhile the material goes inside special waste containers that once filled are taken by other waste collection trucks directly to the landfill or to the waste processing plant.

Waste compactors and self-compactors are equipment designed to process all type of waste (solid urban waste - suw, industrial waste, paper, cardboard, etc.). All materials are compacted and pushed inside the containers in order to reduce the volume and make more efficient the transport operation, because of the density increase gained by the compaction process.

The new shear baler imabe px-200 is a benchmark in the industry of volume reduction equipment, able to replace the primary shredding process of rdf (refuse-derived fuel) preparation. Shear baler px-200 reduces drastically the energetic consumption compared to the waste shredder increasing at the same time the lifespan of the cutting blades. The design of this equipment allows operating continuosly without having any stoppage. Px-200 is able to cut all “strange” waste materials (big pieces of steel, rocks, etc.) that can damage normally any waste shredder. Because of our waste shearing technology instead of shredding the material, the knives do not suffer in comparison and with this design, stoppage risks are avoided.

Imabe plastic bottle perforator is able to punch pet bottles and other plastic containers in order to reduce the volume and avoid air hold pressures at the moment of baling the material. It is supplied in mobile or stationary versions. Imabe bag opener has been designed in order to open and empty the waste bags from single stream waste collection processes, that normally do not have any organic waste content. This equipment is able to empty the bag without damaging the recycling materials content in the bags.

Automatic toxic waste baling presses specially designed for the compaction and baling of toxic and dangerous solid waste under the most strict safety and control conditions.

Imabe briquetting press offers a new technology of closed box system, made for baling briquettes of prismatic shape. Different type of materials such as metal (steel or aluminum shavings / turnings, etc.) that can be recycled by steel foundries, and vegetable or forage (wood chips, organic fractions, biomass, etc.) that also may be reused as alternative fuel. Imabe briquetting press is made up by two main assembled structures that form a 90º angle machine, designed with laminated steel plate and profiles, built to hold up the compression process of all different materials, at pressure levels of up to 14.000 psi.
