Gaia is the new subterranean ecological system that allows the differentiated collection of urban solid refuse in one single structure, containing eight underground rubbish skips with a capacity of 800 liters each. The user owns a personal card or badge that allows him/her to easily use the system, which assures a perfect collection through instructions given by a talking display. Once introduced in the machine, the refuse is weighed and the data concerning the weight and the type of refuse are automatically registered and managed directly by the operative center.
