Imants BV

Imants BV has been in business for over 125 years. The foundations of our internationally successful company were laid in 1885 by the village blacksmith in Reusel. Back then he made hand tools for the local farmers and townspeople. He was soon also successful making horse-drawn ploughs, which quickly became known for their high quality. Mechanisation developed in leaps and bounds in the 20th century, with the tractor plough making its appearance following World War II. In this period, Imants distinguished itself as a parts supplier for plough manufacturers. Imants responded to this new opportunity by developing and producing the ‘Shockwave’, a machine for machine for landscaping, for which our company gained worldwide recognition. We also developed and produced various spaders and machines for asparagus cultivation, which made Imants a household name in various sectors of the agriculture and horticulture industries.
