Asbestos Management Software
Asbestos is a hazardous substance and most jurisdictions have regulations about how to handle, remove, and dispose of it. In Ontario, for example, facilities are required to identify hazardous substances such as asbestos prior to upgrades, repairs, or any work that may disturb the material. The iMAP Asbestos Management System, part of the iMAP Software, helps facility owners identify where asbestos exists within a facility and meet all legislative asbestos management requirements. The iMAP Asbestos Management System identifies risks, keeps workers safe, and helps commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities prioritize and schedule asbestos removal and insulation upgrades.
Coatings Management Software
Protective coatings resist corrosion, and deteriorating coatings and linings can reduce the life cycle of facility assets, increasing facility costs and risking downtime due to equipment failure. Protective coatings also include intumescent coatings that protect substrates from fire. Protective coatings audits identify current condition of your coatings and lining systems for piping, equipment, and structures in accordance with industry standards. Using the iMAP Coatings Management System, part of iMAP Software, iMAP certified users survey an organization’s piping, equipment, tanks vessels and structures to identify deficiencies or rate of deterioration of the coating and lining systems. iMAP certified users are also certified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE).
Designated Substances Management Software
Most jurisdictions have regulations about how to handle, remove, and dispose of various hazardous substances. Designated substances are materials designated as hazardous by the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Ontario Regulation 490/09, facilities must identify designated substances prior to any to upgrades, repairs, or any work that may disturb the material.
Fireproofing Management Software
Applying fireproofing material to structures, equipment, and building envelopes protects the underlying substrate from heat, reducing the threat of failure in the event of a fire. Fireproofing is required in certain areas of a facility and must comply with applicable industry fire rating standards. Some insurance policies require fireproofing audits.
