Turbine Series filter assemblies are designed to be installed on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump for best efficiency and protect precision engine components from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes, and especially water, which is prevalent in engine fuels.

In 2003 Farr Company joined the Racor Air Filter Division of Parker Hannifin. For over 50 years Farr has been producing filtration systems with top quality combining scientific research with care for the customers’ requirements. Farr filters are particularly used for high duty applications, e.g. for vehicles and off-roaders, for marine and industrial needs, for construction machinery which operate in a very dusty environment and for railway applications. Thanks to the co-operation with Parker, the product range will be enlarged with a new generation of air filters.

Contaminated crankcase emissions are a serious problem for diesel engine owners and the environment. These emissions are a result of gas escaping past the piston rings due to high cylinder pressures into the crankcase. In the crankcase, these gases are contaminated with oil mist, water, etc.

The FBO assembly can be used on mobile refuelers or installed in refueling cabinets. The unit can also be used for diesel fuel dispensing pumps or as a primary fuel filter/water separator for large diesel engines. The assembly features a locking ring collar, which attaches the filter housing to the aluminum die-cast filter head with four bolts. The closure hardware allows maintenance personnel – even one person.

The Racor RV Series filter vessels offer an unparalleled high efficiency, versatile, economical and low maintenance solution to many fuel delivery and industrial filtration applications. Used mainly in the diesel and kerosene re-fueling industry, these robust vessels can be seen on countless fuel dispensing locations providing clean dry safe fuel to modern diesel and heavy duty vehicles. Equally these vessels can be used for kerosene, AV gas, heating oils, gasoline and numerous other hydrocarbon fuels.

Lifting, lowering, moving and adjusting: With their accurately adjusted extension force and application-specific damping LIFT-O-MAT® gas springs offer optimum weight compensation, force support, they open and close flaps and bonnets and ensure user-friendly movement sequences thanks to their damping characteristic.

BLOC-O-LIFT gas springs raise loads with an accurately tuned extension force and application-specific dampening while ensuring user-friendly movement sequences. In addition, BLOC-O-LIFT gas springs can be blocked in any position, with springing or rigid blocking in the extension or compression direction depending on the design.

Hydraulic dampening of vibrations: Dampers are needed to positively influence the nature of movements and vibrations. They are designed to match the particular application. Oil-hydraulic dampers consist of a pressure tube, a piston rod with piston system and a piston rod connection fitting. The movement of the piston presses the filling medium (oil) through suitably dimensioned bores into the piston, thus producing the desired damping force.
