LSG Mechanical Testing Services
Our mechanical testing capabilities address most customer needs. This includes: A `Full Service` testing laboratory needs to have the ability to support your testing needs. This includes preparation as well as the testing of your material / components. At ITLS, we can prepare your items for testing by milling, machining, broaching and cutting (abrasive wheel and saw cutting). Our mechanical testing capabilities include tensile, bending, flattening, flarability, load testing, cone stripping, Charpy `V` notch, NDTT, fatigue, drop weight, and hardness (Brinnell, Rockwell, Vickers and Knoop) testing.
LSG Chemical Analysis Services
The ability to service our customers when providing chemical analysis services, occurs from a number of important directions: In-House capabilities - For most applications, we have the capabilities of processing your alloys in-house. If presented a solid piece we can normally use our glow discharge, Optical Emission Spectrometer, to perform most of the analysis required. For certain elements, e.g., (Sulfur, Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen), we use a LECO Combustion test method. We also have X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) to support our efforts.
