Innovative Wireless Technologies, Inc.

Innovative Wireless Technologies (IWT) was founded in 1997 as a spin-off from GE/Ericsson. Headquartered in Forest, Virginia for 15 years, IWT moved to Lynchburg, Virginia in August of 2012 to accommodate its growing business and need for additional space. The current headquarters provides 40,000 sq. ft. of space and is in the heart of downtown Lynchburg. Today IWT is recognized as a world leader in wireless mesh networks, mine safety communications and tracking, and unattended security applications. IWT was originally founded as Innovatek and later changed it`s name to Innovative Wireless Technologies to better reflect it`s core competencies. Today, it is simply known as IWT.
