Founded in 1986, Instrument Systems has since grown into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-precision spectrometers, complex systems and software solutions for spectral light measurement. Our name stands for innovative, top-class light measurement technology and unrivalled specialist knowledge over an extremely broad range of applications. At our headquarter in Munich and our branches in Berlin and Korea, we develop and produce high-end systems and components for the precise measurement of: LEDs and LED modules, Solid-state lighting (SSL) for general lighting, LED/OLED displays and automotive interior lighting, Automotive and traffic lighting (Optronik product line). Instrument Systems has set valid standards for highly accurate spectroradiometric measurement in the LED industry worldwide. To this end, for many years we have been engaged in standardization committees and associations such as DIN and CIE, and cooperate with the leading metrological institutes. As a successful medium-sized technology enterprise, we have been a member of the Konica-Minolta Group since 2012. Assisted by our distributors with many years of experience, we use the group’s international network to offer our customers optimum support and reliable service at the local level, in particular in Asia. Many market leaders in the automotive and aviation industry, the lighting industry and consumer electronics place their trust in our measuring systems for the qualification of lighting components and displays. The latter are subject to ongoing development in conformance with the latest regulations and standards. They are used both in the light laboratory and in fast in-line production tests or end-of-line quality assurance.
