Shock Timer, our new solid state electronic shock detector, logger and recorder, is a low cost, patented self contained battery operated monitoring device that includes a time stamp. Once installed and activated by the user, the Shock Timer, shock detector, logger and recorder, measures bi-axial shocks and impacts on the surface plane (product or shipping container) to which it is mounted. If any shocks occur that exceed the trip level for the Shock Timer, shock detector, logger and recorder, then the clock stops, freezing the time point. This provides solid documentation of when excessive handling occurred and may correlate to in-transit damage. This information may also be used to assign liability for in-transit damage and possible evidence in legal claims against carriers for in-transit damage. This information can also be useful in identifying how or why rough handling took place, and lead to corrective actions to reduce damage in the future.

ShockTimer-Plus 3Dv2, (STP3Dv2) is a new, low cost Shock Recorder for transportation monitoring. The device can be attached to your shipment or vehicle and will record the exact time it was abused in transport and even tell the level of shock it was subjected to.

VibTimer-Plus 3Dv2 is a new, low cost 3-axis g-rms and peak shock logger for transportation and other industrial monitoring application. The device attaches to your shipment or machine and records g-rms vibration level information over long time periods along with exact date/time of all measurements.

The SnapShock-PLUS (SSP) accelerometer, serves as an impact indicator and transportation data recorder. The device is a compact, battery powered acceleration event recorders that records peak acceleration including impact, vibration and shock. The new generation devices offer several improved capabilities over the standard Snap Shock accelerometer model. In addition to measuring peak-g shock levels with a built-in accelerometer sensor, the SSP also measures and records shock duration and velocity change (measure of shock energy) for all events which exceed user defined thresholds. In addition the SSP is now available in tri-axial version referred to as the SnapShock-PLUS/3D (SSP/3D)acceleration data logger / impact & transportation data recorder.

The EDR-3C is a portable impact, shock and vibration full waveform recorder and has a built-in triaxial accelerometer that’s designed to measure shock, vibration, temperature and (as an option) humidity, pressure, or resistance-bridge devices. The programmable unit tags all acceleration events with a time and date to provide a time history of the dynamic environment experienced during a recording session. The EDR-3C series instruments offer a time-tested reputation for proven performance and reliability with hundreds of successful installations since the mid 90s.  The EDR-3C series operates similarly and differs primarily in programmability features, on-board memory and channel capacities. Each recorder is powered by a specially designed C-Cell battery pack (9 Volt optional).

The MSR-3C is a self-contained low cost portable accelerometer data logger unit with a multi-channel, digital acceleration waveform recording system. Our portable acceleration data logger system is battery powered, designed for field applications requiring multi-channel, extended time, unattended acceleration monitoring and recording. The portable accelerometer MSR-3C is programmed for test via a standard serial interface (New: also via USB (serial port emulation)  to a PC using either of two optional software packages. After field recording is complete data is transferred back to the host computer for processing and analysis.

The PANTHER Model EDR -4 series shock & vibration data loggers, monitors and recorders are self-contained, user-programmable acceleration sensor/recorders. The compact, 5lb. Package is designed for remote, stand-alone shock and vibration measurement and recording over extended time periods ranging from several hours to several weeks. The EDR-4 shock & vibration data monitor, logger and recorder is a precision field measurement instrument offering major improvements in recording speed, onboard data storage, dynamic range, data management, and programmability features. The PANTHER shock & vibration data monitor, logger and recorder is programmed for test using a standard PC serial or parallel port, along with IST`s DynaMax DM-1 software module. After Field recording data is transferred back to the host computer for processing and analysis.

The Model EDR-5 series data recorders are self-contained, completely user programmable acceleration sensor/recorders. The instruments are designed for stand-alone measurement and recording of shock and vibration over extended time periods ranging from hours to months. The “5” series offers numerous improvements over earlier models including higher digitization speeds, substantially larger memory, 12 bit/16-bit ADC, USB and Bluetooth data communications, re-chargeable lithium ION batteries, support for external PE ICP accelerometers, real time output capability, and more. The instruments still offer users the time-tested reputation for proven performance and reliability with hundreds of successful installations of predecessor models worldwide since the late 1990s.
