Intecna srl
INTECNA was founded in 1992 by, Dr. Federico Rivalta based on his knowledge of production of fine chemicals and water treatments acquired during over 30 years of working with multinational companies and in over 50 countries. The first production plant was established in Central Italy together with a Research and Development laboratory that continues to produce innovative technologies, new auxiliaries and processes. Over time, INTECNA has gathered a broad consensus in large industrial sectors.

About us
The company collaborates with manufacturers in many countries with particular focus on the Oil & Gas sector where important projects have seen INTECNA committed to supplying products and services. The NYATEC subsidiary established in 2008 in order to develop the processing of raw materials has invested in systems that ensure significant production volumes. NYATEC completed its company profile with warehouses and logistics.
The INTECNA Group is made up of interconnected companies that deal with financial activities and project financing (INTECNA) chemical production (NYATEC), marketing and sales development (IDRIMA) and IDRIPLAST (plastic vessels, tanks, scrubbers, washers manufacture) with other investments in plant construction and technical assistance services
Our Mission
INTECNA invests in human resources, collaborations, experimental works pilot plants trials , research and development. We are not motivated by the mere economic aspect, but by the overall evaluation of the problem, and we like to be able to give our contribution even in small details that can make a big difference in technological improvement.
Our Culture
This is a culture that leads the Group to invest in human resources, collaborations, experimental works, experiments, pilot plants, research and development, therefore in all those activities that look to the future and can create the conditions for the growth of the company in the next years.
INTECNA takes great pride in its ability to look at established processes and see aspects that have been underestimated or overlooked. By carefully listening to those who have been working in a sector for years, our staff can identify issues that can become the starting point for improving processes, with the aim of saving economic resources and reducing the environmental impact. We are not motivated by the mere economic aspect, but by the overall evaluation of the problem, and we like to be able to contribute even in small details that can make a big difference in technological improvement.
In many years of activity, we generally ask our potential customer to let us understand his problem or to explain his objectives in technical and economic terms.
Then we study his process in the laboratory and when we are convinced that we have a possible solution, we evaluate with the customer how to reproduce our work on his plant.
If economically our solution is valid, only then, will we talk about economic aspects, sometimes proposing systems, sometimes products and sometimes only an optimization of the existing process.
Working in the international field, we must understand the uses, rules and reference standards typical of that industrial system and that country and this makes our Group grow as a partner in many areas of intervention.
Technology Transfer and International Cooperation
In the INTECNA Laboratory, we work every day to study process improvement in areas where our products and systems can find satisfying applications.
The problems of the galvanic industry, of the aluminum and glass surface treatment, of the electronics industry, of electrochemical purification, of water recycling and optimization of the sludge cycle are the topics that have been the subject of for years our experimental work.
This allowed us to define processes and products that were the subject of our patents.
This continuous work has led us to establish collaborative relationships in many countries and we have promoted the production or use of our technologies with partners who share our work model.
We have hosted in our laboratories, guests, to whom we have given support and training for the use of the technologies and the human relationships that are at the base of any common work project have been established.
The technologies we have developed are numerous, but we have chosen to patent those that represent real strengths in the application of both systems and products.
The patents we have registered are:
- FLUORIDES REMOVAL TECHNOLOGY: 2003A02590
- SLIP CONTROL IN THE HANDLING OF POLYELECTROLYTES : MI 2012A002227
- FERRATE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY: 2013A001804
- ELETTROCOAGULATION TECHNOLOGY: 10201800009628
- CELDAR®: 302018000031837
The countries where we have established collaborative relationships are:
- ISRAEL
- OMAN
- CHINA
- VIETNAM
- SWITZERLAND
- INDIA
- EGYPT
- ROMANIA
- and other collaborations are constantly evolving.
A typical example of cooperation is the study we have carried out on a sector of great global interest such as FISH FARMING. In this case we have worked on the application of Sodium Ferrate which is a molecule with really excellent performances in disinfection, flocculation, removal of Phosphorus without giving rise to by-products. In this case, we supply the production plant to be installed on site. In addition to this aspect, we have also worked on the production of Bio flocculants, which have the ability to clarify water by biological means without any impact on the life of the species in nursery aquariums. India has shown great interest in this work and we are able to make these technologies available to other countries as well.
