Slick Sleuth - Oil Spill Detection and Alarm

The Slick Sleuth® SS100 is designed for installation in above ground storage tank (AST) facilities, oil terminals, equipment rooms, or anywhere early oil leak and spill detection is needed. Detects a broad range of oil types on water and on dry ground—including spills, slicks, and sheen in tank dikes, sumps, oily water separators, mixing/dispatch points, loading racks, and storm water discharge points and outfalls. Oil detection sensors are used at single points or in a system array to continuously monitor for accidental leaks and spills. As compared to Model SS100, the new "LED" model offers greater range, the latest LED technology, and a field replaceable LED-source which comes with a 5 year warranty.

Slick Guard Oil Detection Buoy is an integrated turnkey, environmental monitoring system. The Slick Guard is a rugged and stable platform designed to be moored offshore or wherever a floating oil spill monitoring station is needed. Deployment areas include intakes of power production and desalination plants, industrial discharge channels, fish farms, and environmentally sensitive areas.

Slick Sleuth - Boom Guard Monitoring Buoy

Boom Guard is one of InterOcean’s latest innovations, developed in direct response to industry requests for “smarter” boom technology in the aftermath of the disastrous Macondo spill in Gulf of Mexico.  The boom monitoring buoy uses proven Slick Sleuth oil pollution detector to monitor for the presence of oil  within the boom containment area. If oil pollution is detected, the buoy transmits an alert via Iridium satellite in real time. The buoy also monitors and reports its location and heading, and transmits real-time alerts should the buoy change orientation (drag anchor) or drift outside of a user-defined watch circle during a storm or due to unauthorized tampering with the boom.

The Series 288 is our smallest, lightest, and simplest winch for loads up to 500lbs. The Series 388 is a modular designed multi-use winch that is custom configured to meet your demanding requirements. The Series 388 can be upgraded with modular accessories such as an automatic level wind, a mounting flange for optional slip ring assembly for use with any real-time / EM data cable, remote controls, and even an optional boom/sheave/A-frame for over-the-side operations.

InterOcean - Multi-Purpose Winch Used for Hydrographic Sampling

A proven multi-purpose winch often used for hydrographic sampling, CTD, side-scan sonar, and water sampling applications. The Series 1673 is fully self-contained and incorporates an electric or hydraulic motor, generally in the range of 500 to 3,000lbs (2.2 to 13.3 kN) of line tension. The Series 1673 is equipped with an infinitely variable joystick speed control, brake, and level-wind, but which can be customized to suit your needs. The Series 1673 is expertly crafted from lightweight aluminum alloy for portability and long-term use in the marine environment.

The Series 1871 Medium-Duty Hydrographic Winch for Tow/CTD is a highly versatile medium-duty winch designed to accommodate longer cable lengths for mid-water hydrographic, CTD, and towing applications. The Series 1871 incorporates steel construction for long-term marine operations with high reliability and exceptional utility. The Series 1871 be configured with either electric or hydraulic drive systems for line tensions ranging from 500 to 8,000 lbs (2.2 to 35.6 kN). The Series 1871 incorporates level wind and remote joystick control as standard features. Slip ring, grooved drum, and other options are available.
