InterOcean - Instrumented Sheaves

These instrumented sheaves are used as fairleads and cable supports for various oceanographic instruments which require electrical conductor cable wire rope or synthetic rope. The snatch block configuration permits rapid placement and removal of the cable without removing the instruments or connector at the end of the cable. Aluminum and galvanized steel construction is used for light weight, strength, and resistance to corrosion. The Series 800 is available in several standard sizes. An electronic wire scope counter and a nylatron sheave are used in the instrumented series. All factory shipped units include hands-on factory training and acceptance at our facilities in San Diego. Remote Technical Service and Support are also included with each Sheave and cable handling system/accessory.

InterOcean - Over-Boarding Sheaves

These sheaves are used as fairleads and cable supporters for marine applications which require wire or synthetic rope, electrical conducting or fiber optic data cable. The snatch block configuration permits rapid placement and removal of the cable without removing the payload or connector at the end of the cable. Aluminum and stainless steel frame construction and sealed marine-grade bearings are used for light weight, strength, and resistance to corrosion. The Series 800 Snatch Block over-boarding sheaves are available in several standard sizes and configurations including cable monitoring and display options (see Instrumented Sheaves).
