ITAP’s production process is entirely carried out in three buildings in Italy. We strongly believe in the importance of high quality standards and control and this allows us to reach the ability to provide our customers with high levels of service and lead time. The raw materials used for manufacturing semi-finished products are brass bars, made from an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel; ITAP acquires its materials from the best Italian drawing mills, located in the province of Brescia and world leaders in the production of brass bars. Worldwide known for the production of check and foot valves, today ITAP offers a large range of ball valves, bibcocks, PRV.

RAW MATERIALS, DRAWN BRASS BARS
The initial deformation stage of the raw materials (brass bars) takes place outside ITAP on the premises of the best local companies specialised in hot forging bar sections. Its certified forging mills have decades of experience, which means that ITAP can rely on their high professional standards and extreme flexibility for all its manufacturing requirements.
Upon their arrival, and before being processed on ITAP’s premises, the semi-finished products undergo a quality control run by qualified personnel with optical and digital tools ensuring a high degree of accuracy; once the products have been found to be compliant with technical requirements, the sandblasting process can begin.
This is essential to clean and get the pieces ready for the subsequent processing stages on machine tools and for surface treatments, such as nickel plating and chrome plating.
