Ivey has developed two award winning technologies, Ivey-sol and Atomisol.
The Ivey-sol® Surfactant Remediation Technology can selectively desorb contamination, including: petroleum hydrocarbon, chlorinated solvent and heavy metals. In doing so, Ivey-sol® liberates these sorbed contaminants from solid substrates making them more “Hydraulically Available” for extraction by pump and treatment (P&T), more “Biologically Available” for bioremediation (In-situ and Ex-situ), and more “Chemically Available” for elimination by chemicalization (i.e. degradation).
Atomisol Metal Encapsulation is an alternative treatment technology for stabilizing toxic heavy metals in soils, sludge, ashes, sediments and production waste streams. The Atomisol proprietary stabilization systems render high levels of lead, chromium, cadmium, arsenic and other heavy metals into non-leachable, safe forms, suitable for in-situ remediation applications, onsite deposition or off-site disposal in Subtitle D landfills or construction debris monofills.
