Detectors - i-Zone Mini Detectors

i-Zone - Zone Detector Module

The ‘Aqualarm’ CDBi-485 Zone Detector Module is made of a purpose-moulded ABS box, housing the electronic circuitry. At one end of the Module a locking line socket is fitted to enable connection of the detecting cable. The other end is fitted with glands for connection to the PCB. A red LED is incorporated in the top of the Module. The red LED will glow to indicate an alarm condition. Alarm status and monitoring is via a single RS485 link to an i-Zone Mini control panel.  The Module comes complete with an End of Line Resistor Plug for connection to detecting cable.

i-Zone - Detecting Cable

The ‘Aqualarm’ water leak Detecting Cable is comprised of two flat tinned copper braids separated, and protected, by Helegaine self extinguishing nylon 66 sleeves. This type of configuration gives protection to the sensing cores against dust, other types of conductive contamination, and mechanical damage. The cable is available in modular lengths of 1, 2, 5, and 10/m. Each cable is pre-terminated with a male and female locking line plug and socket.

i-Zone - Float Detector

The ‘Aqualarm’ FLi-485 Liquid Level Detector is made up of TWO components, the detector module and the float switch, connected together via a 1m jumper cable. Both the detector module and the float switch are manufactured from STAREX  General ABS (SD-0150) plastic. The glass filled nylon float switch is held in place by a sprung clip, secured to the wall at the level desired for the alarm to be activated.  The red LED on the detector module will glow to indicate the alarm has activated. Alarm status and monitoring is via a single RS485 link to an i-Zone Mini control panel.

i-Zone - Overflow Detector

The ‘Aqualarm’ OFDi-485 Overflow Detector is made up of TWO components, the Detector Module and the Overflow Detector, connected via a 2m jumper cable. Both the Detector Module and the overflow detector are manufactured from STAREX General ABS (SD-0150) plastic. The bottom of the Overflow Detector is fitted with a ¾” BSP threaded connector with two stainless steel sensing probes extending from the end. The connector should be inserted into a ‘tee’ to enable the probes to sense any water passing through the main overflow pipe. A red LED is incorporated onto the Detector Module, and will glow to indicate the detection of water. Alarm status and monitoring is via a single RS485 link to an i-Zone Mini control panel.

i-Zone - Point of Use Water Detector

The STDi-485 Point of Use water Detector is comprised of TWO components, the detector module and the point detector, connected together via a 1m jumper cable. Both the Detector Module and the Point detector are manufactured from STAREX General ABS (SD-0150) plastic. The Detector Module houses the electronic circuitry and the Point Detector houses the gold plated detection pins. The jumper cable is connected to the top of the Point Detector via a 3-pin plug & socket. Conductive fluid touching the two detection pins simultaneously will cause the detector to enter an alarm condition. Alarm status and monitoring is via a single RS485 link to an i-Zone Mini control panel. A stabilizing bar is required, as a means of fixing the Point of Use detector to the floor surface.

i-Zone - Zoned Locating Module

The ‘Aqualarm ZLM-50 Zoned Locating Module is made of a purpose-moulded ABS box, housing the electronic circuitry. The Zoned Locating Module generates Pulsed Echo Radar signals, which are transmitted along the entire length of the Leader, and Detecting Cables. When any change in the characteristics of the cable, whether water detected or open circuit  occurs, these are compared to pre-programmed limits and when these limits are exceeded, an alarm signal providing the meterage reading accurate to +/- 1 metre, will be sent to the ‘Aqualarm’ Touch control panel.

i-Zone - Point of use Water Detector

The STDi-24 Point of Use water Detector is comprised of TWO components, the detector module and the point detector, connected together via a 1m jumper cable. Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN bus system. An stabilizing bar is required, as a means of fixing the Point of Use detector to the floor surface.

Control Panel

i-Zone - Mini Control Panel

Our 4-zone Control Panel is a cost effective means of monitoring up to four zones of water leak detection, using cable, point, float, or overflow detectors. Panel outputs include volt-free contacts, a Beacon output, and a 12v Expansion port for relay connection.

i-Zone - Touch Screen Control Panel

Our i-Zone Touch control panel can simultaneously monitor up to 25 of our Water, Oil, Refrigerant gas, Temperature, and Humidity detectors. Two pulse flow meters can also be monitored, with the facility to control a solenoid valve. The use of ZLM-50 leak locating modules allow the location of water leaks to be pinpointed anywhere along the cable. Built in Help screens increase this panels ease of use. Programmable volt-free contacts, and a Modbus TCP/IP output give this panel greater BMS connectivity.
