Janus Fire Systems products
Janus - Foam Suppression Systems
Fire suppression foam is comprised of three parts: foam concentrate, water, and air. When mixed correctly, these parts form a homogeneous foam blanket that extinguishes flames by the combined mechanisms of cooling, separating the flame source from the product surface, suppressing vapors, and smothering. This makes foam suppression systems an effective option for protecting flammable and combustible liquids.
3M™ Novec™ - Clean Agent Fluid Suppression Systems
3M Novec 1230 fire protection fluid is a next generation clean agent Halon alternative. It combines outstanding extinguishing performance with an excellent environmental profile. Novec 1230 fire protection fluid has zero ozone depletion potential, a global warming potential of one, a five day atmospheric lifetime, and a large margin of safety for occupied spaces. Novec 1230 fire protection fluid extinguishes fire primarily by removing heat from the fire. It is also electrically non-conductive.
Janus - Alarm and Detection System
The tasks of monitoring a facility or application for potential fire threats or operating a releasing system are facilitated by a fire detection and alarm system. Fire detection devices, typically smoke, heat or optical fire detectors, electronically relay fire events to a fire control panel which processes the fire detection signals from protected areas and immediately performs key operations, including sounding alarms, shutting down equipment, and releasing fire suppression systems. The control panel also facilitates input signals from manual stations, as well as audible and visual notification devices. These systems are supervised to ensure circuit integrity. In addition, the control panels are supplied with battery backup in the event of power loss.
Janus - Water Based Suppression Systems
Water based suppression systems utilize the inexpensive and readily available medium of water to discharge onto flames through a normally fixed piping system. There are 4 main types of Water based Protection Systems. The hazard / risk to be protected will determine the most suitable type of system you need.
