HVAC Air Filter Replacement and Fitting Service

Grease, dust, and dirt accumulation within ducting and air handling units can significantly hinder the efficiency of an HVAC system. Air-handling units, which provide heated or chilled air, often harbor condensation, leading to corrosion-related issues. However, economical repairs and preventive maintenance can mitigate the need for full replacements. By utilizing our service, drive belts, pulleys, and automatic roll-on filter mechanisms can be replaced to maintain high performance. Properly fitted air filters within HVAC systems enhance indoor air quality by inhibiting the circulation of pollutants and gases. This cleanliness not only boosts system efficiency but also reduces energy consumption by preventing dirt accumulation on moving components. Without adequate air filtration, costly repairs might ensue. It is advisable to replace air filters every three months to maintain optimal system functionality and hygiene compliance, ensuring a sustainable environment and efficient operations.

All of our products meet Eurovent/ISO standards - the current standards for the performance testing of air filtration products.

Clean Air Management Services

Legislation and media attention have combined to make company owners increasingly aware of their responsibilities for maintaining healthy and safe working environments for their employees and customers. It is known that poor quality air within mechanically ventilated buildings negatively impacts on the health of those using it, causing symptoms such as tiredness, lethargy, headaches, and dry or itchy skin and eye irritation.

Jasun - Cleanroom Validation Services

Cleanroom validation is essential for maintaining ISO compliance and ensuring the operational efficiency of controlled environments. Cleanrooms must be validated at process-dependent intervals as dictated by ISO 14644-1:2015, which classifies air cleanliness by particle concentration. For ISO class 5 and below, the maximum recommended interval between airborne particle concentration tests is six months, while for class 6 and above, it is twelve months. It's necessary to align these intervals with your monitoring plans and risk assessments. Comprehensive validation involves various tests, including filter integrity, airborne particle counts, airflow measurements, and smoke visualization, as specified by ISO 14644-3:2005. Additional tests include containment leak testing, air pressure differentials, and comfort assessments such as lux and noise levels. Safety cabinet testing and particle counter calibration are also critical to ensure adherence to standards like ISO 21501-4:2007. These validations are vital for minimizing disruptions and ensuring compliance with regulatory demands.

Ducting and Extracting System Cleaning for Commercial Kitchens

Commercial kitchens operating in the food sector must adhere to stringent hygiene standards as dictated by the Health and Safety Act and Food Hygiene Act. Jasun Envirocare provides specialized deep cleaning services for commercial kitchens, canteens, and food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with these regulations. Their service includes professional ducting and extracting system cleaning, which helps maintain kitchen cleanliness over extended periods. Regular deep cleaning not only increases hygiene standards but also extends equipment lifespan and improves operational efficiency. Additionally, it lowers the risk of fires and aids in adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations. Moreover, compliance helps maintain a favorable Food Standards Agency hygiene rating. The service counters potential issues such as bacterial contamination, disease spread, pest infestation, and equipment degradation. Maintaining regular deep cleaning schedules allows businesses to meet statutory obligations while avoiding severe penalties for non-compliance, thus preserving both profitability and reputation.

HVAC Ductwork Cleaning and Maintenance Services

Ducts are conduits or passages used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) to deliver and remove air. As such, air ducts are one method of ensuring acceptable indoor air quality as well as thermal comfort. And if you have a commercial property, it`s likely that you’ll have a network of ductwork within the walls and ceilings of your building. The importance of maintenance cannnot be understated, as it comes under specific legislation that you need to be aware of. For example, The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 states that employers or persons concerned with the premises owe a “common duty of care” both to employees and others who may use or visit the premises. And this needs to be applied “so far as is reasonably practical”.

Fire Damper Inspections and Remedials

Fire Dampers are passive fire protection products used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) ducts to prevent the spread of fire inside the ductwork, they are found located near or in fire-resistance rated walls, floors. Spring-operated fusible link fire dampers are commonly designed to activate when the temperature exceeds the limit (typically 72° C). The fusible link releases the spring-loaded fire damper to contain the fire within the ductwork space. This ensures that the fire does not spread through the ductwork ventilation system. BS9999 defines a fusible link as a “device that releases a component such as a fire damper or fire shutter at a set temperature”. Fire dampers can also close following receipt of an electrical signal from a fire alarm system utilising detectors remote from the damper, indicating the sensing of heat or smoke in the building occupied spaces or in the HVAC duct system.

Kitchen Extract Cleaning Services

Jasun Envirocare are specialist Kitchen Extract Ventilation cleaning contractors, and our services are deployed across multiple business sectors including restaurants, hotels, care homes, schools, and many more. Kitchen Extract Ventilation Cleaning is an essential procedure for kitchen canopy, grease filters and extract ductwork systems which accumulate a build-up of carbonised grease particles that are impossible to remove by normal cleaning methods. In this condition the efficiency of the filters at trapping grease is seriously diminished, which results in shortening the life of the fan. And due to the demands of a busy commercial kitchen it can even pose a major fire hazard.
