To optimize your cooling tower, you need to have a clean heat transfer surface. Bacteria and organic deposits can lower your heat transfer rate up to 40%. Using JC 9465 and controlling CFU’s (colony forming unit), we can prevent biofouling from biofilm and scale deposits. JC 9465 is a strong oxidizer that quickly inactivates bacteria and biofilm preventing scale from forming on your heat exchange surfaces. By controlling the ORP between +400 MV to +500 MV, we can lower the CFU’s to less than 100 cost effectively. It pays for itself by increasing heat transfer rate.
