DASYLab - Data Acquisition Software

DASYLab is a data acquisition software program designed for users who want to get started right away without any programming effort. Combined with DGH modules the data acquisition software can perform visualization, open and closed loop control. With DASYLab you can perform all these tasks interactively on the screen. Symbols represent functions and you can link them in worksheets according to the task at hand. DASYLab offers an extensive range of drivers for hardware control.

WinWedge - Data Collection Software

WinWedge software reads data from DGH RS232 serial data acquisition modules directly into Excel, or Windows software applications. Data transfers can be performed by sending commands to devices automatically, on timed intervals, or by pressing keys on a keyboard. WinWedge is highly configurable and contains advanced parsing capabilities to parse and filter data to meet most application requirements. WinWedge may be considered a customizable serial I/O device driver that can automatically transmit commands and read data values. WinWedge is ideal for industries such as data acquisition, process control, quality control and others containing “mission critical” data. Serial data from data acquisition products such as DGH analog input modules can be parsed, filed to disk, databases, or communicated to other programs using Windows dynamic data exchange (DDE). Data logging solutions can be created with ease when combining DGH serial data acquisition modules with WinWedge software.

Kepware KEPServerEx

KEPServerEX OPC Server is designed to quickly setup communications to your control systems using a wide range of available "plug-in" device drivers and components. With support for the Modbus RTU protocol and over 130 others, transferring data to your client software is easy. KEPServerEx provides a common user interface for all device drivers, providing consistent access from your client applications using Certified OPC or native interfaces. Client applications receive data by connecting to a server that will collect data for them in a standardized format. KEPServerEX’s job is to collect device data from devices that can communicate using any of the 130 supported protocols. Then translate the data into a standardized values to be communicated using OPC or Windows DDE for all clients to read and understand. Industrial client/server applications can be created with easy when combining DGH Modbus RTU modules with KEPServerEX OPC software.

Utility Software

DGH offers two free menu driven utility software programs for use on MS-Windows computers. The programs can read the user-selectable settings from a module, display the settings, allow user modifications and then communicate the new settings back to the module. Two utility software programs are available. D1000-D5000 Series The S1000 Utility Software should be used to configure any D1000 through D5000 series module. All module communications settings, alarm values, temperature scaling and digital filtering can be modifed using dropdown list boxes. Additional software features include linear and non-linear scaling of the programmable D2000 series modules to output application specific engineering units. D6000-D8000 Series The D6000, D7000, D8000 series Utility Software should be used to configure any D6000 through D8000 series module. All applicable communications settings, channel range selections and digital filtering can be modified using dropdown list boxes.

DAQFactory - DAQFactory Express Data Acquistion Software

DAQFactory is a PC based HMI / SCADA / data acquisition software is designed specifically for smaller systems, resulting in an easier to use and affordable solution. DAQFactory is used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, agriculture, energy, building management, water and wastewater, military, scientific research, and more. DAQFactory allows users to develop low-cost data acquisition systems with an HMI SCADA software interface. Combined with a DGH modules, users can easily measure analog process signals, display real time data values, time stamp and store data to disk in comma-delimited ASCII text files for future analysis. DAQFactory data acquisition software combined with DGH D6000 seven-channel analog input modules provides a versatile solution for a wide range of measurement applications. The analog input modules are ideal for applications requiring measurement of multiple sensor types, including DC voltage, 4-20mA current loops, or thermocouple temperature sensors.
